I have seen several recipes that look good I have only done recipe and it was good. I have seen several recipes that look good and do not have odd ball ingredients.

This combined with "Shoppers GI Values" in my opinion is all you need. If you aren't going to follow these two books or at least a hybrid of each, don't waste your money.
