Jenny Craig allows 1, calories per day, while Weight Watches is more generous at 1, per day. The Slim-Fast program centers around a packaged bar or shake for breakfast and lunch plus a calorie home dinner and plenty of fruits and veggies. The calorie count is pretty aggressive at just 1, per day.

The Zone is a diet plan that relies on breaking foods into fairly proportional groups - 30 percent lean protein, 30 percent fat and 40 percent low-glycemic carbs like fruits and vegetables. This diet might be expensive but it is the absolute best diet out there. This diet is a Godsend. Lost 20 pounds and have never been this thin since I got married which was 25 years ago. The food taste great and I still go back to the doctor and get some of my favorites so the taste is not a problem like similar diets.

The only negative I can share is in the beginning, the first 3 weeks, I must admit I was hungry. I guess my stomach had to shrink and my body adjust to less food.
